How much room do you need for a pool table?
The chart below illustrates the minimum room dimensions needed for pool tables of various sizes.
A standard cue stick length is 57″-58″ long. We have highlighted minimum space you would need to play comfortably with a standard cue stick for each size pool table with our space & dimensions chart below. Some game rooms might not have space to use a standard 57″-58″ pool cue, so we have also listed the space needed for the shorter standard cues the industry sells: 52″, 48″, 42″, and 36″. Many customer will have a variation of these cues on hand for obstacles like beams, poles, or other pieces of furniture which obstruct only a few particular shots. * A standard pool cue is 57 inches in length. Shorter cues are typically used for rooms that have tight corners or obstructions.
